A chiropractic neurologist undergoes advanced, specialized training in functional neurology, with board certification through the American Chiropractic Neurology Board. This requires over 300 additional hours of postgraduate education and successful completion of a rigorous multi-day examination.
Our approach goes beyond traditional musculoskeletal-focused care. Chiropractic neurology is rooted in cutting-edge neuroscience and focuses on optimizing brain function, neurological pathways, and overall nervous system performance. We evaluate how the entire brain-body connection works together—helping you achieve better function, improved performance, and long-term neurological health.
We work with all insurance companies. We can provide our patients with a SuperBill to submit to their insurance for potential reimbursement. While many of the treatments offered by The Cortex Chiropractic are not typically covered by insurance, some may be eligible for coverage.
A Super Bill is a document that shows diagnosis codes and billing codes that you are able to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
Our office policy at The Cortex Chiropractic is to collect full payment upfront at time of service, and we are able to provide Super Bills only upon request.
Chiropractic care is not typically painful. While some adjustments might cause mild discomfort, we offer various gentle techniques and tailor each adjustment to the individual. Our goal is to achieve the best results with minimal discomfort.
Following the initial exam and adjustment, we offer a Cortex Starter Pack, which includes a one-time package of five treatments to help patients get started. After that, patients can schedule individual treatments as needed. All recommendations are personalized to each patient.
Some results are seen immediately and some take time and repetition. The results are dependent on the severity and length of the issue at hand.
